Your Message
I will take your message to my heart
Making known the gospel word
For if the wealth of God defines your speech
On your tongue are His treasures heard.
I will proclaim the voice of Jesus
Though a mystery to one and all
I will bask in His kindness and grace
Remembered daily with sweet recall.
The reality of life seems uncertain
With fortunes of God so denied
The unsearchable riches of Christ
Swell with hope despite tears that I’ve cried.
The eyes of my heart once blinded
See an image reflecting the Son
In the mirror what I see yet dimly
The coming of the righteous one.
I will boldly make known one promise
As I announce the carpenter’s way
What was and is and will be
Are all reasons to harvest this day.
